The WAGERplayer Risk Management features provide advanced and automated exposure management tools providing bookmakers an instantaneous overview of all market exposure levels by limiting stake by customer profiles, Risk Charts display. Risk ChartsThe Risk Chart provides the bookmaker with an interactive overview at a glance of all events and markets showing the current lines/odds, total hold (wager amount), number of bets, and exposure for each market. In the example screen below, the Total Points market on Birmingham vs Wolverhampton is Under/Over 2.5. There are 2 bets Under 2.5 at 1.91 with a total hold of $4. If the total points market result is under 2.5, the bookmaker will win $268. There are three bets Under 2.5 with a hold of $272 and bookmaker exposure (loss) of $200.
To change the line or odds, simply click on the area to move the line up or down. For example, click on 2.5+ will move the total points to Under/Over 3.0. Keyboard shortcuts can also be used to move the odds/lines. Parlay, Teasers and If Wagers can be charted (included) in the exposure figures for each market. Markets can be held (OTB) by choosing Action -> Hold and clicking on the appropriate market. The Risk Chart can be easily searched for a particular team or player by typing the first couple of letters of the team or the Don Best rotation number. Hot Keys have been introduced throughout the system. All functions and actions in the Risk Charts can be navigated using the arrow keys, function keys and hot keys. Since the Risk Management systems are entirely Internet based, Managers can easily and securely access the WAGERplayer system and move lines remotely. Risk Management can be configured to display US style odds (-110 = 1.9091) with exposure displayed as the Wager Amount as shown in the example for American Football below. The Red Line under a market indicates the market is set to OTB. Markets can be individually set to Circled, Added or Overnight reducing the wager limits allowable.
Liability DetailThe Liability Detail screen shows all markets for a single event in detail with a worst way graph displaying the worst result for the bookmaker and a line history showing odds/price movements over time with related hold and exposure.
AlertsA scrolling ticker of alerts is displayed to the manager. The individual alerts and when they are triggered are customizable by the bookmaker. An example of an alert is an audio and ticker alert when a wager is placed by a Wiseguy above a defined wager amount threshold for a particular Sport and Market. Multiples / Parlay ExposureThere are three options for managing Exposure (Risk) on Multiples (Parlay) in Liability Management on the WAGERplayer system. When charting Multiple Exposure on a Selection (team, player, horse), a segment of the Exposure for each remaining (open) leg in the Multiple must be applied to each Selection in that Multiple bet. The Exposure on a Multiple Bet is defined as the amount the bookmaker will lose in the event that all Selections (legs) in a multiple are winners Exposure = Stake * (Total Price - 1) The following three options are available when viewing Liability Management screens on the WAGERplayer system:
ProfilesWager Limit Profiles limit the player wager amount by sport, league, division and Market Type (e.g., Money Line). This is the simplest and most powerful mechanism for managing Risk at the player level. For example, a specific player group can be limited to a wager of $500 in Brazilian Soccer Head to Head, $1000 in Brazilian Soccer Handicap, and be allowed $2000 in English Premiership Head to Head. See the section on WAGERplayer Profiles for more information. VRRThe VRR system in WAGERplayer allows the bookmaker set an overall market exposure cap. The VRR calculates the maximum wager that can be placed on a specific Selection (Team) in a Market according to the odds on that Selection so that the wager cannot exceed the exposure cap set for the Market. This VRR can be varied by the operator on a Market by Market basis and guarantees:
